There are some big changes in the future for Model Citizen this year, including the addition of new tattoo apprentice Sean Chilson, and our piercing apprentice, Jen Dennis is ready to start poking strategic holes in your dermis!

Happy holidays from St John, US Virgin Islands! We are having an amazing time here, and can’t wait to visit again! I will be back to work at the shop on Jan.2nd. you can call to book an appointment this week, before New Years eve.

Back to work at the shop after an amazing week working with the crew at Mooncusser Tattoo in Provincetown, Cape Cod. Lots of cool tattoos and lots of great fishing all week long. Can’t wait to go back next summer. See you guys in November at Inkin The Valley!

Summer schedule…

As summer is fast approaching my schedule here gets crazier and crazier. In the next month I have both my kids birthdays, lots of tattoos, Grassroots music festival, sponsoring the tattoo contest for this years New York State H.O.G.(Harley Owners Group ) Rally in Geneva on July 8th, and lots of riding on pavement and in water… SO… Book your appointments early to make sure you can get in.

The first week of August I will be tattooing in Provincetown, Cape Cod at Mooncusser Tattoo. Check em out at www.mooncussertattoo.com. I’m really looking forward to hanging out with Khristian and Andrea Bennett, and their crew. If you’re in the area and want to schedule a session give me a call, it’s going to fill up really fast.

We would like to apologize for the street construction going on out front. We have been informed it will be going on for THE REST OF THE SUMMER!! Nothing we can do about it, but we will be here tattooing and The Shop Cafe will be open for business as usual.

Don’t forget we now have “The Good Truck” taco truck outside on Saturdays and Sundays. Come get some tasty, local organic, tacos and goodies. Everything is $5!!

ahhh… spring has sprung!

It’s a beautiful time of year here in the Finger Lakes, and people are ready to show off their new artwork! Things have been busy here, but not so much that I haven’t been able to enjoy a few days of riding here and there.

I’m booking into June right now, so make sure and call soon to secure a time before summer is in full swing!

On a sadder note, our condolences go out to the family of Franco Kossa. Franco has been the man behind Inkin The Valley for many years and his presence will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace, Brother.

Traveling was fun, but it’s good to be back and busy at the shop. I had a great time hanging out with Khristian and Sean from Mooncusser Tattoo, and can’t wait to spend a week working with those guys in August!

Model Citizen will be closed from April 16th- April 24th for some much needed renovations in the waiting area. And I’m gonna spend spring break with my kids, lounging, hiking, laughing, and doing as many other fun things as possible, so till then…

Well we made it back from the midwest, after lots of cool tattoos and a fun couple of days in Chicago. Time to finish as many drawings as I can this week before heading out to Inkin’ the valley Spring Fling!

News for 2011…

It’s shaping up to be a busy spring for Model Citizen! The last weekend of March I will be traveling to the mid-west to visit friends in LaPorte, IN and do some work while I’m there. Then off for a couple of fun filled days in Chicago! It’s been too long since I’ve been there, and I’m really excited to get to show my fiance around some of my favorite old haunts.

The first weekend in April has me working (hopefully) at the Inkin the Valley Spring Fling Tattoo/Art show in Wilkes Barre PA. Check em out on Facebook!

And to top off the month will be another edition of your favorite fetish party, BOUND, at The Haunt in Ithaca.
